Overview Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Project Manager for our Naperville, IL office. The role offers the opportunity to manage a variety of projects in energy generation, transmission, manufacturing, commercial real estate, transportation, recycling and waste management across the country. As a project manager you will lead projects of varying sizes and collaborate with engineers and scientists from many disciplines to solve client problems. Responsibilities Geotechnical subsurface investigation duties include: Coordination and monitoring of subsurface drilling investigations Reviewing boring logs Developing laboratory testing programs Interpreting laboratory data and performing geotechnical analyses Preparing reports Construction project duties include: Managing field engineers and technicians Reviewing field reports and field test results Confirming compliance with project design drawings and specifications Meeting with the client and other stakeholders Potential sign‑on and relocation bonus, if applicable. The posting range for this position is between $84,456 – $154,494 based on experience and location. CEC offers overtime pay and other benefits. Qualifications 5+ years of Geotechnical Engineering experience Professional Engineer License (P.E.)
