Geotechnical Superintendent Apply
Job Posting: Geotechnical Superintendent
"We're Searching for a Field Leader Who Builds Walls That Hold the Earth Back"
About the Company: A premier, design-build geotechnical specialty contractor executing the Southeast's most complex and high-risk projects. Founded in 1995, they are trusted field leaders and problem solvers, delivering critical excavation support and deep foundation systems. Their culture is built on a reputation of being Responsive, Reliable & Fair.
The Mission: Your mission is to safely deliver geotechnical construction projects on time, to plan, and without quality failures. You will be the senior field leader responsible for all day-to-day jobsite execution.
Who We Need :
We are looking for an experienced Superintendent, not a trainee. You must have hands-on, field-based experience building the following deep foundation shoring systems:
- Soldier Pile & Lagging Walls
- Soil Nail Walls
- Shotcrete Walls / Facings
- Micropiles
If you do not have direct experience managing crews and building at least one or two of the systems above, this is not the role for you.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Be the ultimate Safety Leader-ensuring OSHA compliance and a zero-incident jobsite every day.
- Be the Quality Enforcer-ensuring work is built exactly to plan and specification, with no deviations.
- Be the Schedule Driver-hitting weekly production targets and resolving issues before they cause stoppages.
- Be the Field General-directing crews, managing subcontractors, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining site organization.
- Be the Reliable Communicator-providing clear, honest updates to the Project Manager, client, and team.
What You Must Bring to the Site:
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5+ years of field experience building shoring systems (soldier pile, soil nail, shotcrete, micropiles). A 10-year general construction veteran without this niche experience will not be successful.
- Mindset: A decisive, self-motivated owner of outcomes. You are comfortable making calls and holding people accountable.
- Skills: Proficiency with daily reporting, basic software (Outlook, Excel), and clear communication.
- Credentials: Valid Driver's License. OSHA 30 & Forklift Certification are preferred.
- Grit: Ability to work outdoors in all elements, on challenging sites, with potential for extended hours and travel. This is a physically demanding, field-based leadership role.
What You'll Receive:
- Industry-Leading Benefits: 100% Employer-Paid Health Insurance
- Strong Compensation: Competitive base salary, Quarterly Company Performance Bonus, and 401K Matching
- Stability & Culture: 9 Paid Holidays. A values-driven, family-oriented culture grounded in respect and integrity.
- A Seat at the Table: The authority and expectation to lead. You will be trusted to run critical work.
Ready to Lead Where the Ground is Unstable?
If you are a field leader who knows how to build shoring systems from the ground up, who values safety and precision over shortcuts, and who wants to be rewarded for taking ownership, we need to talk.
