Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting a GIS Analyst / Graphics Operator for Commerce City, CO.

This position is full time on the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife refuge under the Navarro Environmental Remediation Services contract with the United States Army.
Provide GIS support for map design and cartographic production of both vector and raster products, primarily in support of ongoing soil and groundwater remediation efforts.
Provide 2D analyses, data manipulation, and spatial modeling. Functions shall include the following:
- Maintain the GIS database that interfaces with the Environmental Database. This spatial database is part of the total Environmental Database. The GIS database includes basic information (buildings, structures, topography, boundaries), utilities (gas, water, electric, etc.), natural and cultural resources, remedy related information, and planned future facilities and features. GIS data includes a variety of formats due to decades of data collection. The database also includes many hundreds of aerial and satellite images of RMA.
- Consult with Government and Environmental Remediation Services Contractor (ERS) engineers on GIS development and map production. Interaction and coordination with RMA staff, as well as ERS Contractors, on development and usage of the GIS programs is required.
- Archive all changes made to the spatial database, including associated documentation.
- Ensure GIS products developed are compatible with Fort Carson GIS systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of related work experience.
- The ability to provide CADD Services is desirable.
- Ability to complete work safely and comply with all aspects of site health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work and achieve results in a collaborative team environment and focus strongly on customer service.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible with changes that arise.
- Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills.

Annual Salary Range (based on full-time 40 hours per week)
$72,800 - $104,000
In accordance with the Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc (Navarro) salary determination process, Navarro takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities and the candidate’s education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. A candidate's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
