Job Title: Glasshouse - Technician 1
Location: Research Triangle Park, NC 27709
Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:
Duties:
- Hand watering, fertilizing, and plant maintenance
- Sampling, transplanting, pollinating, and discarding plants
- Planting, harvesting, shelling, and counting seeds
- Assist with data collection and plant performance observations
- May include weekend and holiday hours
Skills:
- Greenhouse experience preferred
- Ability to perform all physical duties required in greenhouse operations under adverse conditions
- Demonstrated ability and motivation to work in unsupervised situations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment and adherence to excellent stewardship practices
- Ability to use MS office software and other databases efficiently
Education:
- BS degree or equivalent in agronomy, horticulture or plant science related field or an associate degree with 2 years of experience in plant biology
