This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

About the Company

Staff/Chief Scientist Product Technologist is expected to Initiate, Propose and Execute research and development projects, He should be aware of the megatrends in the industry and familiar with new trends and products that can impact positively This Company Agri Nutrients offering and propose solution to customers.
Lead in-house new product technology development, scale up & implementations in commercial plants.
Provide technology support to commercial teams and drive specialty roadmap commercialization.
The Staff/Chief Scientist Product Technologist is expected to provide support in Growth Projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide solutions based on market requirement analysis and drive product development until it reaches commercial plants.
  • Possess expertise in Urea-based fertilizer.
  • Provide technology support to commercial plants for shutdowns, turnovers, and re-commissioning as needed.
  • Offer troubleshooting and root cause analysis support, driving problem resolution for commercial plants.
  • Develop and invent new products and applications in the specialty Agri-Nutrients fields related to This Company AN.
  • Participate in in-house product technology development, scale-up, and implementations in commercial plants.
  • Collaborate with external companies, start-ups, and universities, and lead projects toward implementation in the plant.
  • Provide insights, directions, and support to product development within the group.
  • Collect and interpret market, customer, and farmer data and collaborate with MDTS (Market Development and Technical Support) and the business to make recommendations for improvements to ensure competitiveness.
  • Actively contribute to the safety culture, coaching young employees, and initiating new programs.

Requirements

  • Preferred: Masters or PhD degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in dealing with new product development, with a preference for experience or collaboration with start-ups.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Leadership skills to work with and influence highly talented individuals from diverse disciplines and cultures.
  • Ability to create, foster, and drive a culture of innovation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated.
