CommScope is recruiting a Global Procurement Manager to join our growing team! The candidate will be on-site in our Richardson, Texas office.

This role will be a part of our Outdoor Wireless (OWN) Segment Procurement Team and report to our Senior Director of Procurement, Structures, and Connectivity.ensuring the global procurement strategy is aligned with the BU strategic requirements. You will contribute to our team through planning, development, communication, and implementation of the BU strategy in support of product cost, quality, and service expectations.

How Youll Help Us Connect The World

As a Global Procurement Director, this role will lead the manufacturing site-based procurement activities across 10 locations within our US and Mexico facilities. This role will have the opportunity to be the focal point for all sourcing requirements, decisions and processes for business needs as it relates to the manufacturing locations in the region.

  • Define and lead the implementation of the site category strategy development based on business units (BU's) or stakeholder needs
  • Build and evaluate the supplier selection and approved vendor listings to maintain and evolve the supplier management processes
  • Drive suppliers to deliver on cost savings targets with should cost tools, best/low country sourcing strategies, and continuous improvement ideas
  • Partner with BU's, Category Management teams, and site operations to review and report on key priorities and initiatives related to supplier performance and strategic needs
  • Establish and meet KPIs to inspire change and standardization across the supply chain regionally and globally
  • Create and communicate Supplier Capacity Management tools supporting capacity growth with input from BU/Sites
  • Develop and lead a team of direct reports in both US and Mexico regions
  • Identify (short/medium/long term) risks in material supply/shortages and develop/implement risk mitigation plans

Required Qualifications For Consideration:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or related field
  • Management experience, including experience presenting to senior executives.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Strong leadership abilities to deliver results and lead global teams
  • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed

  • MBA
  • Experience working in the manufacturing field
