Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality standards for existing and new products and processes.
  • Partners with Sales to address customer quality issues by participating is customer meetings, calls and other situations as needed.
  • Lead the development and execution of root cause analysis for customer quality issues and complaints.
  • Lead the development and execution of continuous improvement with operations to address customer quality issues/complaints.
  • Develop and analyze quality data/metrics to recommend improvements to operations in the manufacturing process to drive down the cost of quality.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of production process improvements related to the quality improvements.
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
  • Oversee the documentation and record-keeping process to track and report on quality metrics.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, technological advancements, and emerging trends in quality management.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in customer quality management, focusing on ISO standards and Quality GMS.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field experience.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, statistical process control, and Six Sigma principles.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving quality objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
  • Experience with transformer manufacturing or a related industry is a plus.
  • Travel Required
