Global Security Operations Center Analyst The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Analyst, under the guidance of the GSOC Operations Supervisor, is responsible for monitoring the security of Corning's employees, facilities, and property worldwide. The purpose of this position is to provide stakeholders decision advantage by detecting, analyzing, and appropriately responding to all threats to the corporation and its employees; these threats may include extreme weather conditions, political instability, crime, terror, infrastructure failures, life safety system alarms, access control alarms, and more. This is not a cyber security related role.
Key responsibilities include:
Communicating directly with Corning employees around the world as a primary first-contact/first-report for all questions and concerns pertaining to security
Global monitoring of company assets, including alarm response with dispatch of emergency and/or security services
Gathering security and threat information from multiple open-source intelligence services using a variety of web-based and in-house tools
Conducting risk analysis and preparing proactive guidance to travelers, expatiates, facility management, and other stakeholders
Writing custom reports to various businesses across the company to enable decision advantage for Corning leadership
Researching and providing in depth risk analysis for high-risk travel assessments and travel recommendations
Providing support to leadership and protective services, including alarm monitoring, risk analysis, and movement monitoring
Compiling situational and after-action reports for both security and company management
Providing as-needed support for various security operations, crisis response, Intelligence and Investigations, and business continuity functions
Experiences/Education - Required:
Bachelor's degree (Business, Political Science, International Relations, or other related disciplines)
Or Associate's degree with 2+ years' experience in a related field
Additional details include:
The schedule consists of 4-week rotations of 11pm-7am, 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, with every other weekend scheduled off.
Analysts are required to work schedule holidays, and there is an occasional requirement to work outside of normally scheduled hours to maintain operational continuity.

The range for this position is $64,736.00 - $89,012.00 assuming full time status.
