If you have not worked inside an accredited Graduate Medical Education program, this position will not be a fit. General healthcare administration, medical office management, or academic coordination experience outside of GME does not meet this requirement. Applications that do not demonstrate this experience will not be considered. Job Description RMGME is seeking a full‑time Internal Medicine Residency Program Coordinator to support the administration and day‑to‑day operations of an ACGME‑accredited or developing graduate medical education program. This role requires prior administrative experience in Graduate Medical Education (GME), specifically in a Residency Program Coordinator or similar role within an ACGME‑accredited training environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong working knowledge of ACGME guidelines, accreditation standards, and residency program operations, along with the ability to manage complex administrative processes with precision. This is a highly detail‑oriented, operational role that serves as a central pillar in ensuring program compliance, organization, and successful execution of residency training requirements. Key Responsibilities Coordinate day‑to‑day administrative operations of residency and fellowship programs Ensure ongoing compliance with ACGME requirements, including policies, timelines, and documentation standards Maintain resident and program records, including evaluations, schedules, onboarding materials, and rotation documentation Support accreditation efforts, including site visit preparation, annual program updates, and reporting requirements Coordinate meetings, didactics, committee logistics, and communications across residents, faculty, and leadership Facilitate onboarding processes for residents and faculty in collaboration with institutional stakeholders Track milestones, evaluations, duty hours, and ensure accurate and timely documentation Serve as a central administrative liaison for program leadership, residents, and faculty Qualifications Required: Prior administrative experience in GME, including Residency Program Coordinator or similar role Strong working knowledge of ACGME guidelines, accreditation standards, and residency program requirements Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow‑through Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Professionalism, discretion, and reliability in handling sensitive information Preferred Background Experience specifically within an Internal Medicine residency program Familiarity with GME platforms such as MedHub, New Innovations, or similar systems Experience supporting ACGME site visits or accreditation cycles Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced academic or clinical training environment Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Residents Medical Group, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
