Our stores offer one of the most extensive, competitively priced fine wine, spirits, craft beers, gourmet items, and gift selections. We are well-known for our excellent, personable customer service and our knowledgeable wine staff.

The Role: Gourmet/Deli Team Member
You'll work closely with our customers, mastering the art of pairing gourmet and deli items with wine, beer, and spirits. As part of the Gourmet Team, you'll report to the Gourmet Manager and assist guests in selecting gourmet delights for gift baskets.

Responsibilities:

  • Pairing Prodigy: Use your thorough knowledge of gourmet items to assist guests in pairing them with wine, beer, and spirits.
  • Gift Guru: Help guests select the perfect gourmet items for stunning gift baskets.
  • Trend Tracker: Stay updated on the latest gourmet trends and products.
  • Stock Steward: Ensure the rotation of gourmet stock and remove expired items from shelves and displays.
  • Sampling Savant: Keep sampling stations well-stocked and maintained, delighting our customers with new tastes.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of gourmet foods and beverages, with a willingness to learn more.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly, personable demeanor.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Basic computer skills
