You will be part of a dynamic and collegial team with opportunities to work directly with clients and to expand and shape your own practice.Experience with drafting, analyzing, and negotiating agreements (e.g., teaming agreements, prime and subcontract agreements, license agreements, other transaction authority agreements, and/or grant and cooperative agreements) is essential, along with a broad range of regulatory compliance (e.g., FAR/DFARS) experience. Additionally, experience with bid protests, suspension and debarment, compliance audits, novations, small business programs, GSA schedules, intellectual property and data rights, cybersecurity, labor and employment issues, internal and government investigations, domestic preference requirements, and/or FAA regulatory matters is desirable. A successful candidate will possess excellent analytical, research and writing skills, strong communication and client management abilities, an ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment, and consistent attention to detail.This position can expect to have direct interaction with clients and responsibility for managing matters independently.QualificationsMust be a team player who can work both independently and collaborativelyStrong interpersonal skills4-7 years of experience in Government ContractsAdmission (or waiver) to Virginia BarPreferred QualificationsTop 25 Law School or top graduate in GW Law Government Procurement ConcentrationDoD/National Security backgroundJudicial Clerkship in the Court of Federal Claims or a Board of Contract AppealsFull-time work experience with a federal contractor, a government agency, and/or a nationally recognized government contracts practiceTech or intellectual property experience
