The Nurse Practitioner (NP) works autonomously to diagnose, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe pharmaceuticals, and perform procedures within the legislated scope of practice and where required. The NP provides direct care and partners with other members of the health care team. The NP works in close collaboration with Physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
The NP adheres to the NSCN Standards for Nursing Practice and the Code of Ethics and is responsible and accountable at all times for their own practice consistent with relevant legislation, professional, and ethical standards. The NP is accountable to identify, analyze, and evaluate activities that are reflective of quality improvement initiatives.

What We Offer

Compensation and Incentives
- $53.08 - $62.05 Hourly
- $64.22 with 25 years of NP experience
- Shift, weekend, degree and other premiums are provided on top of hourly rate
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Graduated, or will graduate in the coming twelve months, from an accredited NP Masters Degree
- License, or eligible for a license, with Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN)

Hours
- Permanent full-time positions (100%); 75 hours bi-weekly.
- Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
