Position Overview The City of Moses Lake is accepting applications for a seasonal Graduate Student Intern position in the Administration Department. This is a seasonal position for the 2026 summer season, with an expected duration of approximately mid-June to mid-September. The primary function is to provide assistance and support to the City Manager and the Administration Department. The position requires 30-40 hours per week, with occasional overtime. Attendance at night meetings, including City Council meetings on Tuesday evenings, will be expected. Essential Functions Conduct policy research and analysis on various policy issues. Prepare reports and present findings to management and the City Council. Assist with budget preparation, including comparison research and compiling graphs and charts to show trends and comparisons. Assist the Communications Specialist with external communications, including writing articles and assisting with messaging through the City's communications channels. Perform office and administrative work, and assist with coordinating and setting up various meetings.
