South Harrison Community School Corporation Non-Certified Staff - Job Details Title: Grant & Data Reporting Specialist Date Created: 04-02-25 (07:03 PM) Location: Corydon, IN Position Type: Non-Certified Staff Reports to: Superintendent and/or designee Starting Salary: $25.57 per hour Hours: 40 Hours per Week/261 days a year Benefit Package: Support staff benefit package, including 10 vacation days Qualifications: Post-secondary education preferred Demonstrated proficiency in areas of data entry, reporting and database/software applications Knowledge of Student Information Systems (currently use Harmony) Duties: Generally, under direction of the Superintendent and/or designee, the Grant and Data Reporting Specialist will organize, coordinate, supervise and perform skilled work as required by various local, state and federal reporting agencies in a timely and efficient manner. The Grant and Data Reporting Specialist will coordinate with both building and central office staff concerning all matters of data entry/reporting. The following listing provides examples areas of responsibility, but is not all-inclusive in presentation: Establish, administer and monitor grant or special fund accounting activities including the creation of related budgets, establishment of appropriations, continual monitoring and internal and external reporting to appropriate agencies and/or personnel in accordance with guidelines established by the Indiana Department of Education, Department of Local Government Finance, State Board of Accounts, Internal Revenue Service, Indiana Department of Revenue and/or any other governmental agency with appropriate jurisdiction. Maintain daily cash balance information including maintaining cash projections for grant funds. Prepare reimbursement requests for grants and/or state funds. Compile data for state reporting, e.g. student attendance, membership, textbook, course completion, etc. Collaborate with building and district clerical positions to assure accurate reporting and to facilitate cross training practices. Prepare bid specifications and public notices as needed. Perform general office functions such as answering telephones, monitoring radio, sending facsimiles, filing, copying, data entry, etc. Perform other tasks as may be delegated by the Superintendent and/or designee.
