A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Grants Accountant in New York, NY.Responsibilities
- Grants Accountant will manage post-award grant administration
- Supervising Grants Accountants
- Budget vs. actual analysis
- Forecasting
- Reviewing financial records & ensuring timely & accurate reporting in accordance with the fiscal practices and requirements of our funders, as well as organization internal policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 years of experience in grants management, grants administration, & accounting practices
- Prior experience supervising 3+ employees
- Software knowledge of Excel & Sage Intacct
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
