Job Description The role of the Senior Associate is to be the day-to-day steward on media communication for assigned brands, including accurate budget control and flowchart of media activity. You will be required to develop and maintain a strong knowledge of client business and apply media understanding accordingly to help deliver against the clients’ needs/objectives. You will work closely with the Managers in the development and communication of all media recommendations. You will also be responsible for management, oversight and priority setting for respective Associates. Our team is energetic, fun and collaborative. Role Objectives: Assist the manager in development of media plan options and recommendations, across National and Local media types (Digital, Social, Search, Broadcast, OOH, Print, Local) Maintain accurate daily budget control and flowchart of media activity and accurately capturing media plan changes and the monthly budget actualization process Demonstrate strong understanding of media fundamentals, including media math, target audience development, and communication goals (reach/frequency) Demonstrate proficiency with systems/tools (MRI, Media Tools, ComScore) Gather and analyze appropriate research to provide sound, strategic, consumer insights-driven media recommendations Establish collaborative, productive working relationship with partner agencies and internal cross functional teams (where/when applicable), helping create a seamless communications process Demonstrate creativity and agility when problem solving Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects at time, ensuring client deliverable deadlines are met Manage internal/client status reports and follow-up meeting notes Compile weekly reports of competitive marketplace/media information Prepare media authorizations per approved plans/project requests Keeps current with market research (media industry & Automotive news) Takes clear ownership of tasks Takes active interest and role in training and mentoring junior team members Qualifications 1+ years of Media Planning experience Budget Management experience is a must, MediaTools experience is preferred Familiarity with Competitive systems (AdViews/Kantar) Working knowledge of Syndicated research tools (eg. MRI, Comscore, etc.) Strong proficiency within Excel Strong communication and presentation skills, professional, with strong teamwork skills Curious and motivated, solution-oriented problem solver who demonstrates a “can do” attitude Adept at time management and handling shifting priorities Additional Information #LI-Hybrid Req # 24-10035 All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
