About the Role
We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented WordPress & Graphic Designer to join our team in Northern New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for visual design, proficiency in WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite, and hands-on experience building and maintaining WordPress websites. This role combines website design with graphic design projects for both digital and print, offering variety and creative freedom. Candidates should be local to Northern New Jersey and able to work on a hybrid schedule (part in-office, part remote).

Key Responsibilities

·       Design and update responsive WordPress websites.

·       Create visually compelling graphics, layouts, and imagery for both web and print using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).

·       Design engaging and visually cohesive page layouts for editorial magazines, ensuring alignment with brand identity and readability standards.

·       Develop materials such as web banners, social media graphics and marketing collateral.

·       Collaborate with team members to translate project requirements into functional, engaging designs.

·       Stay up-to-date with design trends, UX/UI best practices, and WordPress advancements.

Qualifications

·       3–5 years of professional experience in WordPress and graphic design.

·       Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign required; After Effects a plus).

·       Strong understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.

·       Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript preferred.

·       Excellent design sense, typography skills, and attention to detail.

·       Ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment.

·       Strong communication and collaboration skills.

·       Local to Northern New Jersey and available for a hybrid in-office schedule.

Nice to Have

·       Basic video editing or animation skills.
