We are currently seeking a qualified, upbeat professional to perform duties regarding grinder, pulverizer and other related equipment for the purposes of pipe rework preparation! These activities are to be conducted while ensuring and improving safety, product quality, production output, housekeeping and cost control to achieve plant goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accurately loading residual plastic piping into the appropriate grinding equipment
  • Assist in the line operation of extrusion equipment used to produce pipe aligned with IPEX's procedures and protocols.
  • Notify Supervisor and/or Lead Hands of any non-conformance or unknown conditions and facilitate corrective actions as needed.
  • Perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
  • Package pipe in accurate pallet sizes and quantities and document production; identify, transfer, and load material for production.
  • Use basic hand tools.
  • Identify, remove and report scrap in compliance with work instructions.
  • Support and stay in sync with the efforts of the Joint, Health & Safety Committee (JHSC); maintain acceptable housekeeping, environmental and safe working conditions. Inspect and report potential unsafe or hazardous conditions.

Requirements

  • High School Degree
  • Forklift and hand tool experience
