What You Will Do

  • Work closely with customers, UX and content designers, engineers, and other teams to define the product strategy and roadmap to positively impact customer success.
  • Partner with product, engineering, UX research and design colleagues to improve platform solutions, including white-label, web-based solutions for partners
  • Drive solutions across the organization to deliver on key initiatives, taking ownership of key products through every stage of the customer life cycle, including idea generation, testing, deployment and measurements.
  • Champion and create buy-in for the product vision with key internal/external stakeholders and partners
  • Work with business stakeholders and development colleagues to define product requirements and write detailed user stories, handling the product backlog and prioritization.
  • Ensure success of the teams scrum process as product owner, owning the product backlog, grooming, prioritization, taking part in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, demos, retrospectives and other ceremonies.
  • Optimize product development processes to deliver projects on time, in scope, and on budget, increasing the rate of innovation, and magnifying the teams impact across business units, including partner channels.
  • Communicate product status, metrics, goals and performance clearly to internal stakeholders throughout the organization, including impacted teams (internal and external) across geographic locations.
  • Help define market research and competitive analysis, using best benchmarking for new products, functions, and features
  • Bring evidence based decision making in your communication, using both quantitative and qualitative feedback to prioritize and explain why for product decisions.
  • Understand business objectives and existing solutions and influence product strategy and roadmap with new ideas that serve customers and eHealth.
  • Help us understand what infrastructure pieces can be leveraged from our Medicare offerings to support your business domain and champion optimization of our core offerings
  • Create solutions that enable business partners to utilize our services

Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years related experience as a product manager,
  • Experience with direct to consumer and B2B eCommerce offerings, preferably experience working with mobile and tablet device interfaces
  • Experience in SaaS (software as a service)
  • Experience as a product owner in Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, lead teams by influence to execute on deadline in an ambiguous environment, pitch in on whatever needs doing to get the job done.
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and the ability to communicate the product vision, roadmap, backlog priorities and trade-offs, adapting messages to the audience, technical and non-technical.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Atlassian, Jira etc.
  • Experience in health care, insurance, or related marketplace industry, preferably in the (E&I) area
  • Understanding of the Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA)

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealths total rewards package, which also includes an annual performance bonus, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees personal and professional wellness. Base Pay Range -$162,300 - $202,800
