Jobcon Logo Job Description :

Vontive is venture-backed Fintech that has built industry leading software to streamline and simplify a large and antiquated financial market. The Growth Analyst is a hands-on role for an entrepreneurial individual looking to apply analytical and interpersonal skills toward the optimization of a complex business. You will sit at the intersection of sales, operations, and capital markets and provide the timely inputs that help us focus our resources and manage our pipeline. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to broadly understand the levers in a fast-growing business and see their work immediately translate into operational and financial outcomes.

Reporting to the Head of Growth, this role requires a deep understanding of data, rigorous attention to detail, and the ability to act with urgency and empathy across departments. Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Optimization: Become an expert in analyzing and unblocking Vontive’s loan pipeline to maximize efficiency and conversion rates from new leads to fully closed loans. Implement strategies and best practices to enhance pipeline performance.
  • Biweekly Reviews: Conduct detailed reviews of each Loan Officer’s pipeline at the start and middle of each month to set accurate forecasts and identify opportunities for improvement. Understand the revenue impact and effort required to close each loan.
  • Issue Resolution: Act swiftly and proactively to unblock loans facing obstacles such as missing offer acceptance, missing borrower information, appraisal delays, and insurance/title/valuation needs. Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve issues and maintain momentum.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize your analytical skills to interpret pipeline data and generate plans for continuous improvement. Develop and implement concrete plans to optimize loan conversion rates and overall pipeline efficiency (e.g., growing top of funnel via email marketing, streamlining the appraisal process, etc.)
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across sales, underwriting, collateral, and engineering to address pipeline challenges and implement solutions. Demonstrate empathy and a collaborative spirit in all interactions.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance metrics related to pipeline efficiency and loan conversion. Provide regular updates and recommendations to management based on performance data.

Requirements

  • Education: Undergraduate degree with a strong academic record.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, such as a Sales Pipeline Analyst, Financial Analyst, Growth Manager or a similar position within the financial services, lending, or technology industries.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deal with multiple streams of complex information on a daily basis.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate insights and collaborate effectively with team members
  • Urgency and Empathy: Demonstrated ability to operate with a sense of urgency while showing empathy and support for colleagues across departments.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in relevant software and business intelligence tools (e.g., Metabase). SQL proficiency preferred.

Benefits

Our benefits are designed for your total well being and include:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage

  • Healthy snacks, beverages and meals at the office
  • Your choice of equipment, ergonomic setup
  • Company-sponsored events and volunteering opportunities
  • Flexible hours, unlimited vacation
  • 16 weeks of parental leave

At Vontive, you will find a team committed to diversity, inclusion, and values of:
