Responsibilities

  • Own the guest experience, including package delivery, physical check-ins, and general interactions.
  • Create engaging content for our social media platforms and website, showcasing our team, location, and properties. This includes being comfortable and enthusiastic both on camera and behind it.
  • Manage the entire guest journey from check-in to check-out.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure all accommodations are well-maintained and guest-ready.
  • Respond promptly to all chat messages, phone calls, and emails, including guest requests.
  • Proactively communicate with guests to coordinate services, including arrival and check-in.
  • Assist customers with general inquiries, arrival processes, check-ins, issue resolution, and local recommendations.
  • Other duties as assigned may include:
    • Patrolling assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle, providing assistance and direction to visitors, berth holders, condo owners, and employees.
    • Addressing and questioning any suspicious persons on the property.
    • Following proper instructions for operating equipment, ensuring it's cleaned and stored correctly after use.
    • Applying crime risk and safety hazard prevention techniques, and enforcing marina rules and regulations.
    • Inspecting all operating equipment and reporting any issues to the maintenance department.
    • Investigating and reporting criminal offenses against hotel property, visitors, owners, and employees.
    • Investigating all disturbances, accidents, and injuries involving guests and employees.
    • Complying with hotel regulations regarding dress and behavior, consistently reflecting Key West Marriott Beachside Hotel Brand Standards while offering personalized service.
    • Administering first aid and CPR to guests and employees when appropriate, following OSHA laws and regulations.
    • Compiling accurate security reports in accordance with resort/marina policies and procedures.
    • Monitoring and reporting conditions that may create security or safety hazards, recommending improvements to prevention techniques, devices, and equipment.
    • Responding to fire and security alarms on the resort/marina property.
    • Reading daily memos, schedules, events, SOPs, and other posted information to maintain an up-to-date foundation of information.
    • Demonstrating working knowledge of Alarm Systems and Watchman Systems.
    • Exhibiting proficiency in relevant computer programs.
    • Understanding and setting up ADA equipment as needed.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with various hardware including laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Clean driving record and ability to safely operate various vehicles (shuttle, van, SUV).
  • High level of responsibility and reliability.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel within the market area.
