(NO C2C) Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer 1 to join their team. As a Hardware Design Engineer 1, you will be part of the Silicon Architecture Support team supporting hardware architecture, power, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate curiosity, analytical thinking, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title Hardware Design Engineer 1 Location Redmond, WA (100% Onsite) Pay Range $33 - $37/hr on W2 (NO C2C) What’s the Job? Support hardware architecture, power, and performance analysis through lab-based experimentation. Conduct silicon characterization and data collection to inform optimization efforts. Assist in automation of benchmarking and data collection processes for hardware development projects. Run performance benchmarks tied to CPU, Gfx, NPU, and other components, utilizing tools like NI-DAQ setups. Monitor and modify hardware systems to ensure conformance with specifications and performance goals. What’s Needed? Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. 1-5 years of experience in hardware and software integration, data collection, and experimentation. Hands‑on experience with power and performance analysis in a lab environment. Knowledge of scripting and automation using Python, .NET C#, or similar languages. Experience with tools such as logic analyzers, power analyzers, thermal tools, and automated test setups. What’s in it for me?
