HARDWARE ENGINEER - LEUVEN (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITIONWe're currently recruiting for a Hardware Engineer who will join a engineering team, with primary responsibility for the design, development, and validation of analog and digital electronic hardware.This role involves hands-on ownership of hardware designs from early concept and schematic development through prototyping, testing, and production support.As a Hardware Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing, to build reliable, high-performance electronic systems.You’ll be involved in both creative design work and practical lab-based activities, including debugging, performance evaluation, and iterative improvements.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits, including schematic capture and component selectionCollaborate on PCB layout, reviewing designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturabilityBuild, test, and debug hardware prototypes to validate functionality and performanceConduct hardware testing and validation, including power measurements, signal integrity checks, and environmental or stress testingTroubleshoot and resolve hardware issues throughout development and early production phasesCreate and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, test plans, and design reportsSupport transition from prototype to production, assisting with manufacturing bring-up and issue resolutionParticipate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of hardware design processesRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field3+ years of professional, industry experienceStrong foundation in analog and digital circuit designHands-on experience with electronics prototyping, testing, and debuggingProficiency with common lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies, etc.)Familiarity with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, Eagle, OrCAD, or similar)Solid understanding of electronics fundamentals, including power, timing, noise, and signal integrityThe Offer:A permanent, full-time employment contractA salary & benefits package commensurate with experiencePlease send over your CV to or call me on +32 (0) 3 318 00 74.
