As a member of the Hardware Engineering Team at OnLogic, you leverage your technical expertise, ability to drive tasks to completion, and organizational mindset to support the development teams and the OnLogic portfolio of products. You will drive engineering change, both directing and assisting work done by the hardware development teams. You’ll ensure our customers can depend on our products through electrical troubleshooting and testing.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Take point on troubleshooting product concerns or issues escalated to the engineering team(s) for example from the Tech Support team or the Production team.
  • Build and test a wide variety of systems spanning the entire OnLogic portfolio and utilize a thorough root cause analysis process to tackle hardware and software issues.
  • Work with computer hardware, creating and modifying schematics and building and reworking prototype PCB assemblies.
  • Coordinate with international team members and 3rd party manufacturers such as PCBA contract manufacturers to inform and support your work.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide product development inputs. Influence future designs to make them more robust.
  • Lead preventative and corrective actions and coordinate the efforts of individuals across the organization.
  • Manage the engineering change process, and coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate engineering change requests, orders, and notifications.
  • Support design solutions for new and unique customer opportunities.

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have 2-5 years of experience in an engineering, development, manufacturing, or other highly technical environment.
  • You have experience utilizing circuit design software(s) to create or modify product designs.
  • You have strong skills in troubleshooting electronic hardware.
  • You have experience with computer/PC design.
  • You have a basic understanding of PC architecture and BIOS functionality.
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
