Hardware Test Engineer Apply
Job Description
Electronics Hardware Test Engineer (Onsite — Tualatin, OR)
We’re working with a leading global Client in energy management and industrial automation that supports critical infrastructure across manufacturing, utilities, and advanced electrical systems. Their teams build and validate real-world products used at scale — this is hands-on engineering with visible impact.
They’re looking for an Electronics Hardware Test Engineer who enjoys working close to the hardware — testing, troubleshooting, and improving electronic systems in a lab environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Test and validate analog and digital electronic hardware in a lab setting
- Design and execute test plans, procedures, and reports
- Perform EMC testing and ensure compliance with standards
- Troubleshoot hardware failures and performance issues
- Support production issues and returned product analysis
- Contribute to product improvements, validation, and qualification efforts
- Work closely with engineering teams on requirements, design, and system architecture
What they’re looking for:
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in electronics hardware testing or validation
- Strong foundation in:
- Analog & Digital Electronics
- Signal processing and debugging
- Power electronics (nice to have)
- Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, etc.)
- Exposure to EMC testing or compliance standards
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and clearly document findings
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or related field)
Why this role stands out:
- Real product impact — not just documentation or support work
- Hands-on lab environment with modern electronic systems
- Opportunity to work on complex, large-scale industrial platforms
- Fast-moving team that values engineers who can think and act independently
If you enjoy breaking down hardware problems, understanding how systems behave in the real world, and improving product quality through testing — this is a strong opportunity to step into meaningful engineering work.
