Havc Service Manager Apply
Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and develop a team of HVAC technicians, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback
Collaborate with clients to understand their service needs and provide appropriate solutions
Monitor and maintain high-quality service standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies
Track and analyze service department metrics, such as response time, first-time fix rate, and customer satisfaction
Continuously improve service processes and procedures, striving for operational efficiency.
Oversee inventory management, manage warranty claims and returns
Recruit, interview, hire and train technicians. Attend Manufacturer hosted product and service level trainings.
Maintain compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team
Requirements:
- 10+ years HVAC trade knowledge, skills and experience
5+ years managerial experience or Lead Technician role advising your peers (player-coach)
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and components
Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards
Proficiency in refrigeration piping, brazing, troubleshooting DX systems
Experience with DX systems (split and packaged), air and water cooled chillers, VRF systems, Start-up
Valid HVAC technician license/certification
Good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent; formal training from a Tradeschool preferred
