Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Brand Management to join our team and lead the strategic growth of our multi-brand portfolio. As the Head of Brand Management, you will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies that drive growth, enhance customer engagement, and maximize profitability across all sales channels, including Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, eBay, and others.

You will play a critical role in overseeing brand performance, ensuring each brand is aligned with our overall vision, and managing cross-functional teams to achieve our ambitious growth objectives. This role requires a data-driven leader with a strong background in brand management, e-commerce, and a deep understanding of the Amazon ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy and Growth:
    • Develop and implement strategic growth plans for each brand in the portfolio, focusing on market expansion, product development, and revenue optimization across Amazon and other e-commerce channels.
    • Leverage market research, data analytics, and customer insights to identify opportunities for new product development, product line extensions, and brand positioning.
  • Marketplace Optimization:
    • Oversee all brand activities on Amazon, including product listings, SEO, PPC campaigns, and content optimization to maximize visibility, sales, and profitability.
    • Ensure brand consistency and compliance with platform guidelines across all marketplaces, including Shopify, Walmart, eBay, and others.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
    • Collaborate closely with key department heads (Marketing, Product Development, Operations, Customer Success, and Creative) to ensure alignment and execution of brand strategies.
    • Drive cross-functional initiatives that enhance brand performance, such as new product launches, promotional campaigns, and inventory management.
  • Performance Monitoring and Analytics:
    • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for each brand, including sales growth, conversion rates, customer reviews, and market share.
    • Analyze brand performance data to identify trends, assess effectiveness of strategies, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Team Development and Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of brand managers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and collaboration within the team and across the organization.
  • Vendor and Partner Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and external partners to support brand growth, product development, and marketing initiatives.
    • Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with partners to optimize costs and enhance service levels.
  • Financial Management:
    • Work closely with the CFO to manage brand budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure all brand activities align with profitability targets.
    • Evaluate and prioritize brand investments, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve growth objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in brand management, e-commerce, or digital marketing, with a proven track record of driving growth in an Amazon-focused environment.
  • Deep understanding of Amazon SEO, PPC, product listing optimization, and marketplace dynamics.
  • Experience managing multiple brands or product lines simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales channels, including Shopify.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jungle Scout, Helium 10, or other e-commerce analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of additional marketplaces like Walmart, eBay, or TikTok.
  • Experience with managing budgets and financial performance metrics.
