Job Description Head of Elan Strategy & Implementation – The executive responsible for defining, governing, and executing the long‑term strategy, roadmap, and transformation agenda for the Elan Program. The leader acts as the central architect of Elan's future‑state strategy, translating strategic priorities into measurable business outcomes while coordinating across Product, Sales, Marketing, Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk and Partner Management functions.
Key Responsibilities Define the Elan Program Strategy & Roadmap – Lead the development and ongoing evolution of a comprehensive strategic roadmap. Define the multi‑year vision and strategic direction, evaluate competitiveness across all dimensions, assess market trends, and establish a prioritized roadmap aligned with growth objectives.
Partner and Market Intelligence – Act as the primary strategist evaluating Elan’s position from both prospective and existing partner perspectives. Analyze decision drivers, competitive strengths and weaknesses, market opportunities, and translate partner feedback into strategic priorities.
Enterprise Priority Management – Create and maintain an integrated view of Elan’s strategic, technology, and operational priorities, establish governance processes for prioritization, and ensure resource allocation aligns with business strategy.
Strategic Initiative Leadership & Implementation – Own execution of high‑priority strategic initiatives, translating objectives into implementation plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes, and overseeing cross‑functional execution.
Operating Model & Governance Leadership – Build management routines and governance structures, establish planning and review processes, develop executive dashboards, and lead recurring strategic reviews.
Executive Advisory & Enterprise Influence – Serve as a trusted advisor to the GM and Senior Leadership Team, develop analyses, business cases, prepare executive communications, and facilitate alignment across leadership.

Experience 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in financial services, payments, card issuing, consulting, strategy, technology, or business transformation. Proven track record leading enterprise‑wide strategic initiatives and transformation programs, developing business strategies, and translating them into operational execution.
Skills & Competencies Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical problem‑solving, strong executive communication and presentation skills, ability to influence without direct authority in a matrixed organization, program management and governance expertise, and financial and business case development.
Education Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Compensation Pay Range: $170,255.00 – $200,300.00. The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
