Job Title: Head of Professional ServicesEmployment Type: Full-time Location: Buckinghamshire (hybrid)The OpportunityThis is a rare opportunity to lead, shape and grow an established Professional Services function within a highly regarded commercial property consultancy.We are seeking an experienced Chartered Surveyor, who is ready to step into a visible leadership role and take ownership of a department. The firm has a strong multidisciplinary platform across Buckinghamshire and the surrounding Home Counties. This generates a consistent stream of lease renewals, rent reviews and landlord and tenant advisory work. The successful candidate will inherit this foundation, provide leadership and structure, and seek new business. The RoleThe Head of Professional Services will:Lead and oversee all lease renewal and rent review activity within the firmManage and develop work generated from our existing client base and internal referralsWork closely with the Property Management department on lease events across managed portfoliosCollaborate with Agency on matters where transactional and professional advice intersectDevelop new instructions through networking, relationship-building and leveraging their own career-long contactsProvide high-level, commercially focused advice to both landlords and tenantsContribute to strategic planning, forecasting and departmental growthThere is also the opportunity to undertake the following services:Tenant representation for corporate occupiersStrategic relocation adviceBusiness-critical property event managementPortfolio advisory and consultancy-led instructionsWorking closely with the senior leadership team, the role provides exposure to higher-level advisory work and the opportunity to influence direction rather than simply respond to instructions.Growth and LeadershipThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to:Mentor and grow junior surveyors over timeShape marketing and positioning of the departmentExpand the client base beyond existing streamsBuild a reputation in the market as the firm’s recognised professional services leadFor the right individual, this role can develop into a significant leadership position within the firm.
