Mental Health Consultant
The Head Start Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant will coordinate social-emotional and behavioral services for children in Head Start, their families, and staff. The individual will maintain a connection with community resources and provide screening and services to children with social-emotional, behavioral, or developmental concerns. The individual will provide counseling services to children and their families and set up a schedule to provide services to staff. The individual will provide training to staff and families related to social-emotional development and wellness.
WORK SCHEDULE:
This is a 10-month position and will work 8 hours daily from mid-July through early June (205 days).
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position will be paid hourly according to education and experience placement on the Mental Health Consultant Salary Schedule with a range of $48,000 $58,512 annually.
