Health Information Management - Chart AnalystPerforms wide variety of technical and general administrative duties for the Director of Health Information Management. Provides support to the Health Information Management and Coding supervisors. Duties include a working knowledge of the operation of the Health Information Management department.Minimum EducationAssociates Degree in Health Information Management or equivalent education/experience preferred.Familiarity with medical terminology.Working knowledge with spreadsheets, word-processing and statistical reports.Minimum Work ExperienceAbility to work under pressureAbility to work independentlyAbility to prepare spreadsheets, graphs, minutes, flow charts, utilize word processingAbility to work with confidential informationExperience with compiling statistical reportsWorking knowledge of Allscripts medical records system helpful
