We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare processes, systems, and compliance standards, coupled with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. This role is exclusively for W2 candidates looking to contribute to transformative projects in the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Develop and maintain detailed business process models, workflows, and use cases specific to the healthcare domain.
Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Evaluate current healthcare systems and propose enhancements to optimize operations and improve patient outcomes.
Ensure project deliverables comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, HITECH, and other industry standards.
Assist in the development and execution of test cases, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Provide post-implementation support and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on the healthcare domain.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare processes, systems, and standards, including EHR/EMR systems, claims processing, and provider-payer workflows.
Proficiency in requirement gathering, business process modeling, and workflow documentation.
Strong familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.).
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, or similar.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with healthcare analytics and data visualization tools.
Knowledge of value-based care models and population health management.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
