Job Title Business Manager Overview Join an expanding, multi-specialty Orthopedic Surgery practice seeking an experienced MBA / business development manager to help grow the practice. The practice includes orthopedics, chiropractics, and physical therapy. There are two offices, located in Palm Desert, CA and La Quinta, CA. At its core, Spencer Orthopedics is a Sports Medicine practice that offers a comprehensive approach for treating your musculoskeletal conditions modeled after professional sports team of multi-disciplinary specialists of Orthopedic Surgery, Chiropractic, and Physical Therapy, who are committed to diagnosing and treating injuries, restoring function, and recovering our patient’s performance. We utilize the latest in non-surgical techniques to alleviate pain and prolong the life of your joints through with therapeutics such as Physical Therapy, Chiropractic Treatment, Bracing, and Regenerative injection therapies. When necessary, we also provide specialized surgical treatments such as Arthroscopic and Joint Replacement surgery to repair, reconstruct, and or replace torn tendons, damaged ligaments, and worn cartilage. Compensation $75-$100/hr Per-Diem / Part-Time Independent contractor Job Description Ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in the healthcare management field, with a focus on the operations, management, marketing, and development of medium to large medical practices (20-50+ employees). The goal of this position is to increase efficiencies and grow the practice. We are seeking to grow our referral base, attract skilled and talented providers, and further expand the practice. Operations Oversee and identify areas of improvement to maximize efficiency and lower costs Evaluate and oversee the flow of the practice Lower overhead without compromising quality patient care Maximize efficiency by identifying areas of improvement, adding technology, training, and or team members to improve efficiency Examine the fit and function (right person in right position) of each team member position Development Increase Referrals Identifying needs for the practice to meet goals of growing it Managing marketing and referral relationships Enhance patient emgagement Implement new marketing programs Identify efficiencies, cost effectiveness, and maximize revenue lines Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and organizations Coordinate the hiring process with hiring managers Track and report on hiring metrics Qualifications We are looking for a full-time Healthcare Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Healthcare Business management, marketing, and development. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 5+ years of experience in Healthcare Business Management.
