Job Description

At Colorado Ear Care, the mission is to help people hear better, feel better, and live better. With five locations across Arvada, Castle Rock, Greeley, Lakewood, and Louisville, the team takes a comprehensive approach to ear and hearing health—going beyond standard audiology services. Patients are treated as people, not transactions, with long-term relationships and trust at the center of care.

Position Overview:

Colorado Ear Care is seeking a Hearing Instrument Specialist for their Castle Rock location who combines strong clinical skills with a genuine passion for connecting with people. This role is ideal for a provider who believes hearing healthcare is about improving quality of life.

The Hearing Instrument Specialist will guide patients through their hearing journey by listening carefully, providing education, and recommending solutions that align with individual needs, lifestyles, and goals.

Success in this role comes from building lasting relationships and earning trust, not from transactional sales metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct hearing evaluations and consultations in alignment with best clinical practices and state regulations
  • Recommend, fit, program, and adjust hearing instruments based on patient needs and outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on hearing loss, hearing technology, and realistic expectations
  • Build strong, long-term relationships through empathy, follow-up care, and clear communication
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for hearing instruments
  • Collaborate with audiologists and clinical team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
Requirements:
  • Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Colorado
  • Strong clinical foundation with a patient-first mindset
  • Natural relationship builder who enjoys working closely with people over time
  • Consultative, solution-oriented approach — not sales-driven
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a medical, team-based environment
Benefits
  • Salary Plus Commission Potential $105,000–$115,000
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits (fully funded by the employer)
  • Generous Paid-Time off
  • Matching Retirement Plan
  • CEU and Associations Reimbursement
