Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hearing Instrument Specialist located in Pocatello, ID. The selected candidate will conduct hearing assessments, provide personalized hearing solutions, and assist clients in improving their quality of life. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing hearing tests, fitting and adjusting hearing aids, offering customer support, and educating clients on proper device usage and hearing care. The candidate will ensure exceptional client experiences in a professional setting while maintaining accurate records and compliance with industry standards. This position does require travel, at least 30% of the time.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in conducting Audiology evaluations, including Hearing Tests and Audiometry
  • Strong Customer Service and communication skills, with a client-focused approach
  • Knowledge of hearing and speech-related challenges and solutions
  • State licensure or certification as required for practice in Idaho
  • Ability to work empathetically and professionally with individuals experiencing hearing loss
  • Experience with hearing aid fitting or adjustment is a plus
  • Proficiency with digital tools and software related to hearing aid programming
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in a relevant field is an asset
