The starting pay is $28.98 - $31.05! We are located 2101 Hill Avenue Toledo, Ohio 43607 United States  Responsibilities: As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you are responsible for assessing and repairing heavy duty lift equipment at the railyard as well as performing maintenance and mechanical repairs on side loaders (loaded container handler), hostlers (semi tractor), forklifts and support equipment. Qualifications: 1-3 years of heavy equipment mechanic / service technician experience requiredPrevious crane mechanic experience a plusHydraulic systems experience required (pumps, valves, motors, filters, and hoses)Driveline component repair experience (axles, bearings, ring, etc.)Ability to work in various weather conditionsAbility to work in a safety focused environmentAbility to lift 50lbsMust have a Valid Driver’s LicenseMust pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations.
