Summary As an Equipment Operator at CS Beatty Construction, you will be an integral part of our operations team. This position involves operating various heavy machinery to support construction projects and ensure efficient site preparation and execution. Responsibilities Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Operate heavy equipment such as articulating dump trucks, dozers, excavators, skid steers, loaders, compactors, and water trucks safely and efficiently. Perform daily inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assist in site preparation tasks including grading and excavation as directed by supervisors. Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and project progress. Communicate effectively with onsite personnel regarding project needs and updates. Keep equipment clean and orderly. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required for all positions. Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy machinery operation. Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed. Familiarity with various types of construction machinery. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
