Overview BDI Marine Contractors, LLC is a Florida-based marine and civil construction company specializing in bridge repair, seawalls, sidewalks, roadway construction, and grading projects. We take pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and teamwork. Position We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of construction equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and backhoes, and will be responsible for supporting marine and civil construction projects across Florida. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on active job sites Perform tasks such as grading, trenching, excavating, lifting, and material movement Conduct pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance on assigned equipment Follow project plans, blueprints, and directions from superintendents/foremen Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times Assist crew members with labor duties when equipment operation is not required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operation experience (marine or civil construction preferred) Ability to operate multiple types of equipment (excavators, loaders, bulldozers, skid steers, etc.) Knowledge of safe operating procedures and OSHA standards Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Must be willing to travel to multiple locations throughout Florida up to 75% of the time Competitive pay (based on experience) Overtime opportunities Health, Dental, and Vision insurance options Paid time off and company-recognized holidays Job Type Full-time Experience Heavy Equipment Operating: 3 years (Required) Note: This description reflects the requirements and responsibilities as provided and may be subject to change to accommodate business needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
