The Role We are seeking a skilled and safety‑conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing field team. You will be responsible for operating specialized earth‑moving equipment to prepare project sites for infrastructure and construction. Key Responsibilities Safe Operation : Adeptly operate heavy machinery including excavators, dozers, haul trucks, backhoes, and wheel loaders. GPS Technology : Utilize GPS-equipped dozers and excavators to achieve precise grades and site specifications. Maintenance : Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance; report defects to the foreman immediately. Safety : Adhere strictly to company and OSHA safety standards. Collaboration : Proactively communicate with the foreman and team to ensure project efficiency. Requirements Experience : 3–5 years of experience operating heavy equipment. Technical Skills : Proven experience with GPS technology in earth‑moving applications. Physical Ability : Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work on uneven terrain, and pass a pre‑employment drug test.
