Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, and articulated trucks.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in heavy machinery utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and prepare maintenance reports accordingly.
• Replace or repair faulty parts and systems to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment problems effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities in compliance with company procedures and standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician or similar role in a construction or industrial setting.
• In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment related to heavy machinery.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and components, and perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
