Overview:
The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across our operations. This position requires a deep understanding of industrial electrical systems, the ability to interpret technical documentation, and a commitment to safety and compliance. The ideal candidate is a skilled, motivated, and safety-conscious individual who can work independently or as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components of industrial equipment.
• Diagnose and correct electrical and control issues using strong troubleshooting skills.
• Install and maintain wiring for 480-volt 3-phase motors.
• Ensure compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
• Interpret and work from technical documents such as blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Conduct quality testing and inspections of equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to complete repairs and installations.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a registered electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent journeyman experience.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, controls, tools, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Physically able to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces or at heights.
• Willingness to work in a demanding, fast-paced industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or construction setting.
• Knowledge of PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and motor controls.
