Job description:

Description/Comment:

Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems.

Diagnoses, identifies, isolates and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records.

May route calls to product line specialists.

Maintains and updates records and tracking databases.

Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.

AA or other 2-year technical degree in related discipline and 1 year of related experience

Equivalency: Associate's Degree and 1 year of experience.

A relevant professional certification can be substituted for an Associate's Degree

Special Requirements

**Department cannot support a start date prior to 10/1/2024**

Must be available for all shifts - 1st shift (7:00am 3:30pm) 2nd Shift (3:30pm 11:30pm), and 3rd Shift (11:30pm 7:30am) with rotating weekends.

Department will determine shift after training.

Mostly remote role, no set schedule to be onsite.

- Experience supporting many applications including MS Office products, O365, VPN apps and many other business and engineering applications

- Experience doing technical support over the telephone and/or in chat

- Experience with troubleshooting Windows clients

- Experience working remotely
