Job Description
The Tier 1 help desk technician role at OIS information Technology in Warm Springs, OR is the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance through various channels. This entry level position involves diagnosing and resolving basic hardware, software, and network issues such as password resets and Microsoft 365 problems. Responsibilities include ticket management, utilizing remote access tools for user support, and escalating complex issues to higher-tier support while keeping users informed. This role requires foundational technical skills combined with strong customer service to support organizational productivity.

Requirements
Associates degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred. Two years of experience in a help desk, customer service or technical support role. CompTIA+ or Microsoft office Specialist (MOS) or related certifications are preferred. Valid Drivers License and be insurable by CTWS. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Must submit and pass a criminal background check with Federal, Tribal and State Law Enforcement. Maintain strict confidentiality at all times!
