ResponsibilitiesI. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares and performs a variety of CT procedures. Provides patient care during procedures.II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential: standing, sitting, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking, lifting, pushing/pulling maximum weight of 50 pounds of force, carrying usual weight of 25 pounds. Continuous: reaching at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions, frequent gripping of an object. Frequent: stooping/bending, lifting weight up to maximum weight of 50 pounds, carrying usual weight of 50 pounds, reaching above shoulder level, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods. Occasional: kneeling, squatting, twisting body. Operates CT scanner, injectors, interventional equipment, CT display consoles, computer, telephone, printer.III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions. Exposed to communicable diseases.IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE: Current Hawaii state license as Radiologic Technologist. Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.). Current BLS/HCP certification.B. EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care facility;OR One (1) year experience in Radiologic Special Procedures. CT experience preferred. Experience to demonstrate: o In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively communicate with the Medical Staff. o Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
