Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher with high school certification to support students in a school setting located in Sterling Heights, MI. The position is a contract role beginning as soon as possible and ending on June 12, 2026. The work schedule consists of 20 hours per week spread over 5 days, supporting a caseload of 19 high school students.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education License with High School Certification
• Experience working with high school students in a special education setting is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities
• Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement IEPs
• Monitor and document student progress
• Create a supportive learning environment conducive to student growth and development
• Maintain compliance with all relevant educational regulations and policies
