JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for an Electronics Engineer for our products for alternative fuels and electric vehicles. You will be a part of a global team that together will design and implement new solutions for electric vehicle charges, Bio-LNG and CNG dispensers and hydrogen dispensers.

Position Summary
You will design electronic hardware mainly within the area of electrical vehicle chargers. You will be responsible of the design, verification and implementation as well as belonging technical specifications and documentation, of your tasks. You will be based in Austin, Texas, US but the position can involve travel to other DFS sites worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and test electronic components and subsystems to be used worldwide.
Participate in testing and release procedures.
Being able to take ownership of High voltage designs (<1000VDC/<1500A) and Electronic-PCBA development
Provide full Technical Documentation Package for all developments.

Profile - Knowledge
Bachelor or Master of Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical (BSC/MSc level). Relevant work experience is a strong merit.
Experience in high voltage/power design
Experience in troubleshooting
Experience with Micro-controller environments and embedded systems is a merit.
Experience in software development is a merit.
Experience to work in PDM systems
Experience in electronical CAD (Altium, Orcad)
Knowledge in mechanical CAD (SolidWorks)
Experience within safety and metrological standards such as ATEX, UL, IECEx, MID, OIML, Inmetro and NOM is a merit.

Profile Competencies
Fluent in English
Paying attention to detail
High level of personal quality , dynamic, flexible, hands-on
Result oriented
Open to working in an international team with different disciplines, e.g. application developments, hydraulics, certification, etc. (colleagues located in EMEA, US, Latin America, China and India)
Mobility for short stays abroad (max one week).
