Job Description:

About The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and kind person to join the St Vincent's Virtual & Home (Community) team providing quality care to clients in their own home, ensuring they can remain independent, supported and empowered within their own homes and communities.

On a daily basis you will be:

  • Delivering personal care and support with daily living activities
  • Working collaboratively with the Home Care team to get the best outcomes for individuals
  • Providing social outings and transport services
  • Providing in home respite guided by a Care Plan
  • Monitor and report on changes to clients health through appropriate protocols
  • Building strong relationships with clients and their families
  • Make a real difference to the lives of others.

Things that work for us:

  • Drivers licence, own vehicle and comprehensive car insurance (essential)
  • Certificate III in Individual Support / Certificate III Aged Care or similar qualification (preferred)
  • Prior experience in Aged Care/Disability capacity (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Compassion/Empathy
  • Demonstrate an empathic and caring approach
