Our dedicated trucks operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in all types of weather. This is non‑seasonal work with consistent pay you can count on.


Compensation & Schedule
  • 70,200+ Annually
  • $1,378 + Weekly
  • Paid weekly
  • Home Daily
  • 48‑hour guaranteed night shift schedule
  • 10:00 PM – 10:00 AM
  • Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday OFF
  • On the Job Paid training

Employees are paid for all on‑duty hours, including breaks, meals, and wait time between dispatches.

Job Summary

The CDL Locomotive Service Support Specialist is a position that provides logistical and operational support to railroad mechanical personnel during locomotive servicing activities. Employees respond to dispatches, stage and transport approved materials, and operate service vehicles in active rail and fueling environments.

This role does not perform mechanical inspections or repairs. All locomotive work is performed by railroad mechanical personnel, with this position functioning strictly in a support capacity under direction.


Responsibilities / Job Duties
  • Load and transport sand, lubrication oil, and potable water using dedicated service vehicles to support railroad mechanical operations
  • Respond to on‑call dispatches from railroad mechanical personnel
  • Meet and support railroad mechanical personnel in the vicinity of locomotives by:
    • Handing off approved hoses
    • Cutting service trucks on and off to dispense approved additives under direction
    • Retrieving, securing, and storing hoses after use
  • Support locomotive toilet servicing by:
    • Connecting approved suction hoses
    • Removing waste into truck‑mounted tanks
    • Transporting and disposing of waste at approved facilities
  • Safely operate in active rail yards and fueling zones, including authorized crossing of tracks and locomotives
  • Comply with all railroad, refinery, environmental, and safety standards
  • Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required to support railroad operations

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements required
  • Valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Med Card) required
  • FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse compliance required
    • Must be registered in the Clearinghouse
    • Must consent to required pre‑employment and ongoing queries
    • Must have no unresolved Clearinghouse violations
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required
    • No DUI or DWI convictions within the past three (3) years
    • No reckless or careless driving convictions within the past three (3) years
    • Accidents, moving violations, and traffic convictions will be reviewed in accordance with company, customer, and insurance standards
  • Ability to pass all company, customer, railroad, and government background checks
  • Responsible for maintaining all required licenses and certifications
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Reliable, dependable, and safety‑focused
  • Moderate computer skills required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb as required
  • Walk long distances on paved, uneven, or unimproved surfaces
  • Frequent climbing in and out of truck cabs
  • Ability to safely cross rail equipment and operate around active locomotives
  • Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working with liquid non‑hazardous materials and dry bulk products
