Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Administer prescribed medications and ensure proper medication management for each client.
• Help clients with mobility and ambulation, providing assistance as needed to prevent falls and injuries.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health status or needs to the healthcare team or family members.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a sense of safety and well-being.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and hygienic living environment for clients.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records of client progress and care activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Home Health Aide is preferred.
• Previous experience in home care or a related healthcare field is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and healthcare providers.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with personal care and mobility assistance.
• Empathy and patience, with a genuine desire to help others.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and the healthcare system.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between client locations.
