Horizons Colorado at Colorado Academy (HCCA): Summer Enrichment Program 2024: Lead 3rd Grade Teacher Apply
HCCA offers an enrichment program designed for Denver Public School students from under-resourced communities. The tuition-free program runs for six weeks from June 17 through July 26, 2024 and emphasizes academic enrichment, social and emotional learning, cultural experiences and the arts, and health and wellness - including swimming. Teacher orientation, which is required, will be held on June 12 - 13, 2024.
The 3rd Grade lead teacher guides daily classroom activities, goes on field trips, oversees swimming and outdoor activities, and other duties as required. This position will require some lifting, sitting, walking, and the ability to engage young children in their daily activities.

Compensation
Salary range for the six-week summer program is $5,200 - $5,350 commensurate with experience.
As this is a seasonal position, no additional benefits beyond those required by state and federal law are provided
